The Gairezi rises on the slopes of Mt Nyangani, Zimbabwe’s highest mountain. Quiet fascinating the river has clear waters safe to swim and safe to drink. With the help of a community the project at Gairezi river is amazing . The community project has kept the river clean and well managed. Popped by the office and later visited a small cottage close to the river where accommodation is offered for those looking for an overnight stay. We managed to take a swim in the river, waters were quiet warm as we visited during the summer period.

TAPA COTTAGE

Tapa cottage is our signature holiday home in Nyanga. Very private and located within a fenced community. The cottage is neat, cozy, secure and comfortable. Suitable for a small family or a small group of friends. The Cottage is located within a village which has a private dam. Guests are free to go and braai at the dam as well as canoeing among other water activities.
